I appliqued the top of this quilt quite a number of years ago. I had intended to hand quilt it, but upon starting the hand quilting realized I hated hand quilting and I really hated echo quilting.
I gave the quilt top to LouAnn to finish as she saw fit. Just recently she elected to have it machine quilted by Karen Rupp (MKR Designs). The result is delicious. LouAnn, who really loves Hawaiian quilts, loves it and it will grace her wall with my blessing. Guess who will never do another Hawaiian . . .
