I used to sew clothing. In the 80’s I was a member of a couture sewing group. We designed and constructed clothing using the finest fabrics. It was fun! Then our fearless leader died of some obscure brain disease and we never met again. Sad.
I continue to sew clothing for many years after our merry band was no more, then I stopped working for my Fortune 200 employer and “moved back to the land”. My need for lined wool slacks and silk mix coordinates went away and I stopped doing high-end garment construction. And I gained weight and gave away all my expensive looking clothes.
When we moved to Lewis County I somehow fell into quilting. I brought all my anal sewing practices to this art form and found a home. I’m slowly adding the quilts I’ve done to this site. Enjoy!
