About

This site came about because I needed a place to stick some ramblings, drawings and journals for various projects. If I don’t set up my own site I would have to post my stuff on someone else’s website and that’s so not me.

Next to my husband and my son, I love dogs, plants, food and quilting.  I have way more dogs and plants than I should have and weigh more than is healthy but life is short.  We should live it to the fullest.

I want to play with hydroponics and aquaponics this summer, plus some other small projects, so here we go . . . I have a site for house stuff, farm stuff, social commentary and work.  With this site I now have a place for my gardening, quilting, cooking and dogs. I see this as a good thing! My other sites can brush off the stuff that doesn’t belong to them and stand tall. Ugh, anthropomorphism at is very worst.

  1. is the conti-rag spreadsheet still available? i couldn’t find any files once i opened it on a mac. thanks in advance.

    1. Yes. If you’re on Ravelry I linked the most recent iteration of the spreadsheet in the contiguous/conti-saddle workshop forum. If you can’t find it there, let me know and I’ll investigate.

  2. I have the same question as grace, is the Conti-rag spreadsheet still available? In Ravelry I couldn’t find it. I would be very grateful to get an answer on my question.
Thank you so much in advance !

    1. I’ve written programming to handle the work done by the conti-rag spreadsheet. In addition to what the spreadsheet did, the program does more. I want it to be available to everyone. I’m just not quite there yet. Among other things, I don’t have the input and editing forms done.

If you need the calcs mentioned in the conti-something tutorial (Conti-something tutorial) Let me know. I can take your measurements and gauge and provide you with a link for you and your sweater in the program.

This is the sweater I am working on now. You can see I’m still not quite happy with some of my calculations. They’re usable but not perfect. Perfect makes me happy.
