Patrick Blanc was commissioned for a vertical garden on Tacoma’s (local to us) Goodwill-Millgard Work Opportunity Center and gave an hour long talk at a local museum. The wall construction work was performed by a local business, Teufel Nursery and Landscape Resource Center. I didn’t know about Blanc’s visit before-hand or I would have attended his talk. The man is an inspiration.
